Muhammad, peace be on him, was the seal of the prophets.

Reader comment on item: PBS, Recruiting for Islam

The deplorable state that muslims are in today, is not because of Muhammad, it is because of their own doing. The simplest and most basic tenets of truth, honesty, good governance etc. etc. is being ignored for the control of oil, power and the throne. If the muslims were to really follow the message of prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings on him, none of this would come about, not the bombing in Bali, bombings of the embassies etc. etc... The PBS show, Muhammad, Legacy of a Prophet was just that, informing all of the truth. Whoever wants to understand or accept it is their decision and whoever wants to reject, hate, demean, it is certainly their free choice.

There is no compulsion in Islam. It is only logical, because if you are forced, you don't have free will and therefore can't be accountable. Every man is accountable for his actions. Therefore, whosoever forces in matters of religion, is misguided.

Bad mouthing Muhammad (pbuh) will only bring shame. After all, he is the last prophet of the creator, Allah.
