If ever there was a Declaration of war, this is is!

Reader comment on item: [The Hamas electoral victory:] Democracy's bitter fruit

Submitted by Victor Lipshutz (United States), Jan 28, 2006 at 07:30

By overwhelmingly voting for the Hamas Terrorist organization, Palestinians have, in effect, issued a declaration of war on the State of Israel.

At least, now, we can rid ourselves of the delusion that the Palestinians would be willing to negotiate in good faith with Israel.

The question is, will Israel respond appropriately to this declaration of war?
