Dear richard E,

> I really think that you got it wrong. They made a democratic choice .

Democracy , dear sir, contrary to what we are taught nowadays , means much more than simple primary school arithmetics. If you don't believe me, consult Montesquies. Democracy is more a spiritual culture than just a way of counting votes given by intimidated, brainwashed voters in a third-world country dominated by a group of religiously motivated gansters.

By the way, I wonder which dhimmi politicians reiterating their trite phrases of "democratic choices" ad nauseam ever cared to study him? What these dhimmi democrats have made of democracy is a shame and democracy's undoing!

> We do not agree with it but we have to talk to them. The IRA had the Sinn Fein the Israelis had the Stern gang and other iffy groups( to say the least ) ended with leaders that strove for peace.
> We have to talk to them and say to them openly, you want funds, you want support. OK but you have to comply with certain things.
> Acceptance of Israel, crack down on all forms of terrorism and for this, you are given the world, funds, advice, acceptance.

Do you know the history of the later Roman empire, sir? The Romans had this lovely expression 'barbaries dolosa' (more or less "fraudulent , perfidious barbarians") referring to the tribes beyond the Danube and the Rhine. The barbarians wanted Roman gold and Roman territories. The empire existed in peace as long as neither was given to them and no one cared about the promises made in public by the barbarians. If you start negotiating with barbarians you must be either crazy or are perfidious as themselves.

In other words, don't suggest that we shall believe the crocodile will start eating grass because it has publically promised to do so.
