at least you can be glad your kids are better off. just make sure they dont end up in the same rut. this not questioning the faith or belief I guess is another essential point with which muslims I guess have a problem. but in general it is a problem of all eastern societies at the moment. Islam colonizes the brain and mind of its non-arab followers. I am told in Pakistan they are consciously taught to appreciate 'date' as their favorite fruit, when Pakistan is exporter of best quality mangoes! this is a just a simple, probably insignificant, aspect of the broader reality. But anyways your thoughts are very touching.
