Reader comment on item: [Pew Poll on] How Muslims Think

Submitted by melanie.. confused and worried (European Union), Jul 13, 2006 at 15:04

i am, and was, appalled by the happenings of 7/7 and 9/11, i believe there is no punishment severe enough for the pathetic people who carried these acts out.

i want to know as a young 16 yr old, what our world is coming to? the future is bleak with endless condemnations of one anothers religions, hatred spurred on from things like money and materialistic thoughts. every religion , whether it believes in the book (judaisim, christianity, islam) or whether it admires wise gurus, or Gods along the way, will take you along a path, despite all these paths being diffferent we end up united in the fact we all believe in one god, who is to say it isnt the same God!? filthy comments about islam or anyother religion will not make this world a better place, terrorism is a nasty nasty act and lets fight it together, islam is not a toxic religion it promotes love thy neighbout as much as the bible... lets not let the minority win... lets be one earth... plz i ask of u ... dont let me and my peers go through this tunnel and not reach the light.. for us make the future brighter..
