Christians do believe in absolute truth

Reader comment on item: [Pew Poll on] How Muslims Think
in response to reader comment: Christians and the media are the problem

Submitted by Zane Davidson (United States), Jul 1, 2006 at 13:26

Christians do believe in absolute truth. As a Christian, I believe that Jesus Christ is God and came to earth in the form of a man, to take my sins upon Himself and to sacrifice and die to pay the penalty for my sins. Jesus says, I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No man comes to the Father except through Me. So in absolute truth there is right and wrong. No harm is meant - only good - because in love I want to reach out to the ones who do not know Jesus Christ, and do not know the path to salvation and eternal life with the Father. As Christians, we have been given such a gift of grace - we are to grow in our spiritual life. Anything else seen of a Christian is not the way Jesus teaches. Please accept these words in the context they were written - which is a deep belief and conviction that Jesus Christ is the only Way Truth and Life. He has demonstrated His power and love and grace in my life, and I have to share this with others. Thanks for letting me express my beliefs. Zane
