Reader comment on item: [Pew Poll on] How Muslims Think
in response to reader comment: G.Bisvas,

1) The analogy is correct and fair. What is coming from islam is not peace, knowledge and progress but lies, violence, blood-shed and takiya. That stinks - it stinks and hurts a lot.

2) Among themselves the muslims are having unsolvable problems leading to violence and more islamic fascism and ruthlessness. This proves that there are contradictions in the kuran. If there is a family in my neighbourhood and I keep hearing desperate cries and ugly noises from their house then I have to conclude that they are having quarrels (=contradictions) among themselves.

3) You have to do your homework yourself - no let up in that condition. I am not going to do it for you - no matter how much you try to persuade me.

4) That certain things are found in a website is no disqualification. Websites are a legitimate tool of search and knowledge today (except for primitive thinkers, who think kuran is the last word of wisdom and knowledge). Danielpipes.org is a website - why do you visit it? Why do you take it seriously if websites are what you think they are?

5) The kuran is not a book of guidance but of manipulation and intimidation leading to a docile uncritical population of mental slaves (but these mental slaves are very "brave" when it come to carrying out assassinations). Muslims will never be allowed to develop the intelligence to recognise that. If a muslim, positively influenced by non-muslims, does develop such an intelligence then he is made to feel bad about it. This is the collective manipulation done by every fascist ideology. (And islam is not the only fascist ideology).

6) Regarding tamil woman, cindy crawford and buddhist monk - if they do anything wrong then it is wrong. It serves no one as a justification. Muslim violence has its own independent long-back roots. So don't jump to non-muslim examples. Afterall you muslims regard yourself as incomparably better than everyone else. So why mention these non-muslim examples?...

7) Mansukh etc. indeed did not make the contradictions in the kuran go away. So you are on the path of knowledge. Right on brave man. I hope your bravery does not come to an end too soon. The contradictions which the mansukh attempt did not make vanish are indeed plaging you muslims right now. Madina verses, Makkah verses, tolerant verses, intolerant verses, compromising verses, uncompromising verses - you muslims are tied up in a knot. Alexander the great cut thorugh the gordian knot as he was asked to extricate it before starting his Asia expedition. Similarly you will have to throw out the old 7th cenuty book and come to live in the 21st century. The contexts of the 7th century are largely invalid, incomprehensible, confusing or misleading in the 21st century.

8) One who flatters is never the true friend. There is a turkish saying "friend speaks bitter". You muslims like only flattery - that is what mental slavery (=islam) leads to. Your god and your prophet also like only flatteries. That is a major reason for your islamic problems - lack of honesty and harsh criticism.
