Islam and Americans and American Muslims

Reader comment on item: [Pew Poll on] How Muslims Think
in response to reader comment: The media distorts Islam

...my goodness, we already have the month of August in this forum. I hope it goes like this for the winter time because electricity is not that cheap.. electricity here has to do with intellectuality.

I want to share with you something. First, I admit that American people are one the best welcoming, and social nations in the world. The government is not that much welcoming and no that much social or not social at all. It is wrong to believe that all Muslims are against America when it goes to war with a Muslim country. Example, not all Muslims were against Russia when it cracked down on Chechen rebels. The problem is an American problem. America has a very hate attractive way of international hypocrisy. People can not be fulltime stupid. a- When all the world condemned the Appartheid regime, America supported it in many instances b- the politics of invading other countries like Panama . c- supporting terrorism like former so called Mujahedeen whom I call Terroristim in Afghanistan who nested Alqaeda d- the politics of supporting dictators (although they argue nowadays that democracy is not good for Muslims because it brings to power radical Muslims, this idea is rubbish by the fact that in Christian Chilie and Venezuela they were opposed to democracy as well) and I can go with letters untill z.

So are people stupid to think all the world is stupid! enough of this and may American people get rid of the mafia that is on the top.

American Muslims can and must die for America. Dual citizenship should be deleted from the laws of countries. American Muslims should think America first and forget about the Alibaba dream land. If they are in a country that preserves their dignity, than that is it. Live in it and die for it. Muslim citizens can refuse to participate in an injustice that America can engage in, yet they should go through legal channels not through Richard the Lion`s way.

America as a government has an image in the world worst than ever. The politics of America has become like Iran. Religiously based..At leat Iran so far does not breach UN treaties like the US. Tax payers should have a say in all this not in election day, but now. They have to stand up for the real issues which are education, health and socila security. Americans deserve to be like Canadians..

So far, America failed in the following:

Afghanistan, Iraq, South America, Corean Island, Candian soft wood lumber, European Union trade tariffs and the issue of Human rights and the relationship with the UN. USA failed to improve its image in the outside world, failed to catch Ben Laden, failed in detering Iran, failed to bring more security to Israel, failed to set a decent oil price of its citizens , failed to lower crime rate, failed to secure Mexico borders...failed, failed, failed...Meanwhile the media is doing what!! serving the people of America! I do not think so..
