Reader comment on item: [Pew Poll on] How Muslims Think
in response to reader comment: Honest Confession from Mohammad ( Ex-Muslim)

As per your assertion : Throughout history, fundamentalist Islam tried to establish an ontological form of Islam through Jihadi terrorism. I can say you are right based on the way Jihad & terrorism are understood.

I also agree with you by saying "Without jihAd, there is no Islam. JihAd is a religious duty of a Muslim state. All lands not belonging to the territory of Islam (dAr al-islAm) must be conquered by the Muslims, and are therefore called the "territory of war" (dAr al-harb)".

This could be well understood with the following comparison: Without the activities of the US army, FBI, CIA, Police, etc, thers is no USA. With this brief comparison, we will conclude that Jihad means 'a struggle to protect the Muslim's faith & the Islamic state. Therefore by calling muslims to put an end to Jihad, is as if you are telling the US government to stop the activities of the marines, FBI, CIA, etc.

If you claim that jihadists kill innocent people, I can say those listed above too kill innocent people, just yesterday I hard 4 US army charged of some serious war offensives.

You also said "He (Muhammad) also told them to offer their enemies three options or courses of action: "Invite them to accept Islam; if they respond to you, accept it from them. If they refuse to accept Islam, demand from them the JizyA. . . . . If they refuse to pay the tax, seek Allah's help and fight and kill them" (4294).

Consider the following example for you to understand; The Western world & Israel are giving the Palestinian leaders the following options: Recognise the state of the occupiers (Israel), & (not or) give-up the struggle, or face the concequences (destructions & more killing). You are backing these kind of terrorism & telling others to give-up struggle. How fair are U?.

Your advice to your government as "Severe punishment is the only key and there should be no tolerance whatsoever to terrorist backed ideologies" is nothing rather than strenghtening the so-called terrorists. Any such step taken against them, they think it has been taken against people like Moses, Jesus & Muhammad by Pharoah government, Romans & the Meccans respectively but yielded nothing at the end ( ie their followers & sympathizers increased). Know that one can't parmanently suppress another, talk less of 1.4 billion people.

My own advice to the world leaders is that they should consult fair & just experts on the root cause of the on-going world terrorism & find a way of amicably solving it. We should ignore the so-called Ex-muslims who are wandering in doom & confusing. Any Ex-christian or Ex-muslim is nothing but a Mischievious being.
