"...An entire revisionist view of Australian history with a focus on genocides both real and imagined against native peoples, an attack on western institutions most notably the Catholic and other churches (which must include the Holy Roman Inquisition, an Islamocentric view of the Crusades, the Conquistadores - etc etc you get the picture). Conveniently absent is an emphasis on other periods most notably the enlightenment, the passing of the charter in Great Britain and the sufferagettes (universal franchise), the abolitionist movement against slavery or anything else that might give one a positive view of Western society...."

and I thought it happened only in India! Excellent post. I think the idea that religion should be separated from politics is one of the reasons. either they don't understand religion or politics or both. But anyways, I guess the world whether free/unfree, civilised/uncivilised, islamic/non-islamic is gonna pay the price in blood for this.
