The DNA of Islam

Reader comment on item: [Pew Poll on] How Muslims Think

Submitted by Yoven (United States), Jun 28, 2006 at 16:00

There seems to be a very transparent lineage between Islam and violence. While not all Muslim are terrorists, it is a fact that most terrorists are Muslims. I personally have Muslims friends that denounce violence perpetrated by Muslims but the reason that I am friends with them is the fact that they are not practicing Muslims. Practicing Muslims, who are good Muslims seems to be connected with violence and hate ideologies and while non practicing Muslims, who are considered bad Muslims seems to integrate to western societies and even bring stability to their own country, i.e.: Ataturk of Turkey.

Does Islam to a certain point alter someone's DNA? As we know a father who is a rapist, alcoholic, violent, etc does actually pass it on to certain degree to his offspring. Rape, violence, mental disturbance and other malign attributions is something rampant within most Islamic countries, after 1400 years of being constantly bombarded with all those negative influences of your moral, does your DNA actually adapt to those conditions and start emulating the ideologies that have been passed on from generations to generations? Like they say, you are what you eat, feed someone with violence and only violence will come out of that person, its crafted profoundly in their blood and I estimate that it will take about 1400 years to rid mankind of Islam. Just like they ate us, block by block, we have to get back what is ours block by block.

Personally, I don't care what a Muslim thinks of the west because their opinion doesn't have any impact on me and doesn't change what I think of them, I already know the polls results before it is published and I think the polls are actually being kind to the Muslims. Of the 1billion Muslims people in this world, maybe only 1% thinks Osama is a terrorist and maybe only 2% condones Islamic terrorism. Just like I estimate only 5% of Americans really knows the real nature of their enemy.

I also believe that Islam will survive as a minority sect within Western nations and will disappear with time (long time) in all Islamic nations, for that however to happen, the west and all non Islamic nations has to lay ground for this process to take place. Islam and modern life cannot co-exist together and all Muslim nations' wants to modernize but they are not ready yet to ditch Islam.

I think there are basic steps that the non-Islamic nations can undertake to start the reverse process of Islamism. 1st: Stop all diplomatic and economic liaisons with all Islamic countries that practice the Shariah law until they are ready to democratize. 2nd: Change our life style; stop our dependency on Islamic oil. Plenty other solutions, E-85 ethanol, E-100 ethanol, biodiesel, Wind, Solar, Water, There is unlimited amount of energy alternatives that are already available to us. 3rd: Put an arms embargo on all Islamic countries, i.e. Afghanistan, it never pays to arm an Islamic country, they will eventually turn against you. 4th: Make sure all Islamic countries schools teach secular subjects. If hatred is not being fed to the kids, their DNA might start becoming more and more peaceful. 5th: Keep all Muslims away from non-Islamic countries so that they don't corrupt our societies. Those are I think the least basic steps that we shall undertake for our self-protection and radical uprising of Islam.
