Any Muslim Who Does Not Openly Condemn Terrorism...

Reader comment on item: [Pew Poll on] How Muslims Think

...supports it. Why is that none of you begin your posts by first condemning terrorism?

I've read many of the posts on this site for some time. It seems that those who follow Islam present the following arguments to defend their faith (in no particular order):

Followers of other religions also commit atrocities (This implies that it is acceptable for any one to commit crimes against humanity including Muslims - in other words - two wrongs make it right.)

Islam is a religion of peace (If this is true, why is it the only religious belief in whose name is used by terrorists to justify their acts?)

Terrorism is the fault of Jews, Christians and/or the Media who defame followers of Islam and make us out to be evil (any rational person finds this absurd)

Terrorism is a response to acts of aggression by [Insert name of country] (If this is true, then form an army and fight them on a battlefield instead of using random acts of cowardice - at least Mohammed led an army!

So it is my opinion that any Muslim posting here that does not begin their post with a strong condemnation of terrorism is actually a secret admirer of Islamic terrorists and a liar by act of omission. This is something any Muslim can prove to themself by doing the following:

The next time you go to your Mosque, at the end of prayers, stand up and say loudly for all to hear: "I condemn the evil terrorists who commit acts of atrocity in the name of Islam! Suicide bombers are sinners, not martyrs!"

If you are even able to get out of the Mosque alive (which I doubt), and if your fellow Muslims don't come in the middle of the night and slit your throat, and if you aren't stoned in public, and if your own family does not reject you out of shame...at the very least, you will be shouted down and labeled a heretic, then forced to repent or leave. Only in Islam can humanity see such hatred, intolerance and violence.

Why is this? Because even if you do believe yourself to be a peaceful Muslim, the vast majority of Muslims do not share your beliefs.
