Reader comment on item: Anti-Muslim Racism?

Submitted by Ed (Canada), Nov 29, 2005 at 07:33

Every single person who contributes to the basis and infrastructure of terrorism, is implicated in that terrorism. Every single muslimah in western countries who wears one of the various garbs of islam is doing so to show their support for fundamentalist islam, which can clearly be seen by a close study of islam, to be a terrorist ideology. Not only are they showing support for terrorism, they are in fact practicing a form of psychological terrorism, by establishing their "apartness" from western society.

This demonstration of their difference causes fear in people who see their values and civilization being usurped. It also intimidates the migrants to the west, who have come to escape islam. I fear for our civilized way of life, not only because of this usurpation, which happens by lots of small demands for accomodation to their demands for their "sensitivities", but also when the backlash finally comes, there will be a serious breakdown in economic and social order.
