Not So "Academic"

Reader comment on item: Anti-Muslim Racism?

Submitted by w (Israel), Nov 25, 2005 at 06:07

The distinction is important beacause of the dishonesty of the idea of calling Dr. Pipes racist.

The whole idea is to push the issues of immigration and and anti-terrorism et cetera into the category of "Racism" so that it can then be argued; "You've already decided against racism and this too is racism". So that the issues can no longer be discussed.

It would be far more honest to debate the issues of immigration and anti-terror etc rather than simply trying to manipulate them into an "untouchable" category.
