Muslims are racist in nature

Reader comment on item: Anti-Muslim Racism?

Submitted by Olie (Indonesia), Nov 22, 2005 at 23:56

Mr Pipes,

I guess muslim people should not think that non muslims are racist. As we know, look at the facts that certain muslim countries never allow other religions to build their place to worship, such as in Saudia arabia. Even in a secular country Indonesia there is certain rules not allow other religions to grow. Also, look at the fact that muslims tend to not purchase any food or anything from non muslims, then the more they think they are devoted to their religion, the more they tend to isolate themself from non muslim, even do not want to eat together or accept any food from others, which is very insulting attitude. Look at the fact that they will never marry non muslim except their partner must become muslim too. Also in certain country like Indonesia, they tend to set up regulation only can sell HALAL food, which is the label only can be obtained if the process must follow islam law. Then, what we must say to comment that kind situation? First of all, we must say, they are racist!! Second when we give any comment to what they are doing, why they call others racist?...
