What do you call...?

What do you call someone who loves, or has affection for, or simply respects others who express these same benevolent emotions/behaviors? Note that these expressions of benevolence are conditioned on reciprocation, or the expectation, at least, of nonaggressive reciprocation.

What do you call someone who accepts the reality of a violent act against an innocent person without hating the violence perpetrator, while at the same time trying to prevent unjustified violent acts?
