passive corruption!

if a person wishes to seek their own destruction, he/she will generally look towards a common pillar of support which has been weakened by the eroding effects of time and society. in essence, each and every person alive could look at a religious book and whip the text out of context, does this essentially make the religion corrupt? does this make the religion false or in an way repressable? we have to understand that human judgement is impure, we judge based on what sounds good to us and this makes us biased, only god has the divine judgment. and i'd love to debate with people on msn :)
