Reader comment on item: Islamophobia?

...You have not quoted the Wikipedia but a quote from a muslim leader within wikipedia : "Many non-Muslims used to live with Muslims under the banner of Islam for almost thirteen centuries......" No encyclopedia would ever make such a statement. That is equivalent to saying that the Eskimos initiated the idea of the electric stove and polar bears always lived in harmony with them.

. ..Face the facts: Interpretations of this religion is so full of contradictions simply because what the leaders preached and practised were too. And to justify them, they provided all sorts of ambigious generic exceptions and excuses and dogmas. Which to this day is extremely confusing to its followers and the only way out is to declare that somehow despite the controversies, it is infallible, is the best solution, is peaceful and so full of amazing assurances since it sounds great..... a great marketing strategy indeed !!!! Until the fruits ripen.

Exactly what communism was - infallible, unquestionable, amazing answers to all the world's problems, undefeatable, peaceful, egalitarian and yet turns out to exaclty the opposite. IT JUST CANNOT FAIL..... it is too good to be true.... exactly !!
