Reader comment on item: Islamophobia?

Submitted by gary (United States), Oct 30, 2005 at 12:34

when i send commentaries into this site i have tried to be as civil and adult as i possibly can but this is one time i will take the gloves off. i have read all of the commentaries that have been posted regarding this article up until the time i am writing my response. i see a great deal of fear in the commentaries being posted and my question is why? are those of us that follow the judeo-christain way of life inferior to islam? i think not. is our culture subordinate to theirs? i think not. in fact we are superior in every way to them and we should remember that and be proud of it. we must not psycologically surrender to them in any way, shape or form.and we must remember that there is no middle ground here. we are at war.

war is not only fought militarily but at several different levels including economically, culturally and spiritually. the moslem is the enemy. when pattons troops landed in north africa in ww2, they were met by the viche french troops. after a short battle in which the americans gained the upper hand, they tried to surrender. the american commander said, if you are vichy, fight us. if you are free french, join us. this is the message we should be giving. it is the moslems who are committing these herendous acts of violence, not us. and it is not our fault and dont ever forget that. it is they that should be trying to understand, not us. i dont agree with islam but that doesnt give me the right to go out and intimidate them or kill them. and they dont have that right either. it is about time we were worried about our own culture and not try to "understand" them. a blind man can see their aims in a minute.

personally i am afraid of no moslem because of islam. there is no damage that they can inflict on me that is more powerful then the damage i can inflict on them. wake up people. you dont have to like these people and you dont have to accept their meddling in your lives. if our forefathers dealt with the british in the same gutless way we deal with islam, there would be no united states of america. we dont have to let them build their houses of hatred in our neighborhoods and we should make that quite plain to our politicians. and why are we giving them the koran down in gitmo? isnt this the same book that led them to murder us in the first place? and im sick of hearing about the supposed higher moral ground. dead people dont have the luxury of morals. and its time we stopped listening to the liberal punks in amnesty international and the international red cross. i wonder if they would be so self righteous if they had had a relative in the twin towers on 9/11. some of you may call this racism, i call it righteous indignation and im not willing to surrender. let the europeans do that.

it is time for all of us who are jewish and christian in the united states to acknowledge the unpleasent fact that we are under attack and not worry about the enemy's motives, but do everything we possibly can to destroy the enemy. we make a big deal about analyzing their motives when their motives are as plain as day. they are a bunch of out of control ...that think they have the right to murder us. well they dont. and until we cut through all the noise and confusion heaped on us by the media and their leftest allies, we are doomed to slip further into the abyss.

worry about what you think and how you feel, not vice versa, because the enemy simply doesn;t care. ...
remember, in the end, it is up to every individual how they think and feel about the situation we are in. all im saying is do it from your perspective, not theirs. god bless america.

thank you
