I agree with you Daniel in having hope (and praying) for peace (more than words can tell)...But

That statement belongs to Islam, not because I say so - but because their Koran says so.

Now - Try applying it to Christianity (it can not be done).

This is a world that refuses to hear the truth. And the majority of people in every nation are not able to wrap their minds around the consequences for not accepting the facts.

I believe we are in the valley of decision. This world has a choice to make (so far).

Here is what the Koran teaches:

Beheadings (047.004) - Racism (005.041) - Gang Rape (033.052) - Crucifixions (005.033) - Genocide (033.061) - Treason - (008.067) and it is Islam who is commanded to - go forth - throughout the earth - to carry out those acts.

And the denial over those facts (given by none other, but the Koran) - is an ear-deafening roar!

On the other hand - If you mention....

Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself....

Saying such a thing - can get you killed in some places. And the verbal attacks for doing so (especially on the internet) are also - an ear-deafening roar.

In the forums of those who rightfully point out the fault of 'political correctness' among the politicians, you will find that they too, have the same fault if you try to explain to them... "You have to fight fire with fire".

In the battle between those who say there is no God, and those who say there is, the latter has clearly won, has always won - and will - always win. Islam alone, is proof enough of that.

I agree with you Daniel, that even the smallest steps to calm the situation in that region need to be carried out - and not only for that region, but for the whole world.

But what good are any steps to peace, if the Koran remains free to stoke the fires again? over and over?

I have said, Take out al-queada, hezbollah, and the like - and their koran will only send more (many more) mutating into groups with different names (is this not so?). They all have the same agenda - because they get that agenda from one source - their koran. It is their foundation.... a foundation that teaches...

How much wisdom is required to understand that the tree is known by his fruit and that we reap what we sow?

These facts are terrifying. So terrifying, that to speak of them, invokes a form of 'political correctness' - even among those who are willing to admit them.

To the demise of all - the media giants (all of them), the politicians, the judges, the lawyers, the professors, even so-called 'holy men' - have chosen to stick their heads in the sand - or to take sides with the deception (for fear or money).

The Koran says...

005.041 O Messenger!let not those grieve thee, who race each other into unbelief: whether it be among those who say "We believe" with their lips but whose hearts have no faith; OR IT BE AMONG THE JEWS,- MEN WHO WILL LISTEN TO ANY LIE.

It saddens me to say this Daniel, as much as I would like to see you succeed in those small steps for accomplishing peace, I can't help but fear for the future of my children. (you can not put the cart before the horse)

No one is taking the steps needed to crush the very source that is causing this war.

And no one wants to use the Weapons (which are not carnal) that were given to the whole world for doing so.

Long ago, the name Israel was Blessed - by a certain One.

And long ago, the name Palestine was condemned,... by Three (Moses, Isaiah and Joel).

The wise men of this world are too foolish to understand and the fools who love wickedness are too blind to see that which they are bringing upon themselves.

If we refuse to "Fight fire with Fire" what should we say then?....

Let us eat, drink and be merry - - - for the little time that is left.
