can Israel win?Reader comment on item: How Israel Can Win Submitted by JAIME EISEN (United States), Apr 6, 2006 at 15:01 WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF AN ARAB ROCKET HITS THE ELECTRIC SUBSTATION THE FEEDS GAZA? WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF ISRAEL FAKES THIS ACT AND SHUTS DOWN THE ELECTRICITY SUPPLY TO GAZA? IT WOULD TAKE SOME TIME TO REPLACE THIS ELECTRIC EQUIPMENT AND REPAIR WORKERS MAY REFUSE TO WORK UNLESS THERE IS GUARANTY THAT NO MORE ARAB ATTACKS WILL OCCUR. HOW LONG WILL THE ARABS HOLD WITHOUT TELEVISION ENTERTAIINMENT OR GASOLINE PUMPING AT THE GAS STATIONS. THEY WOULD DO THAT TO ISRAEL IF THEY FEEL THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH IT.Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
