I wish that....Reader comment on item: How Israel Can Win Submitted by David Brotsky (United States), Apr 18, 2006 at 12:40 If you "refrain from suggesting specific steps Israel should take" that you would also choose to refrain from suggesting the steps Israel should NOT take.You claim that "an aggressive step like "transferring" Palestinian Arabs out of the West Bank would be counterproductive for Israel" yet when one looks at the prospect of uprooting 70,000 Jews from those areas, which do you think would be more counterproductive? Certainly one would be much more of a crushing of a blow to the enemy than the other. If you speak of the idea of transferring anyone out as a bad idea, I'd hope you'd remember that transferring Jews out of those areas is also currently on the table and is certainly not a step in the right direction.
