Wahhabi outlook, Alwaleed bin Talal.

Reader comment on item: My Gloom: Back to September 10

Submitted by Hans Guggenheim (United States), Dec 21, 2005 at 10:39

The funding of Wahhabi Islam programs at Harvard and Georgetown does raise serious concerns that need to be addressed. The brilliant move by Alwaleed bin Talal needs to be countered by funding balancing programs at the same and other universities. One such program is now being put in place at the University of Illinois. Perhaps you could take the initiative by establishing a group of potential donors.
Happy New Year
