Dr. Pipes,

I share your lament.

When a nation of our particular stature forgets its roots, shuns its traditions, and mocks the very foundations which anchor its soul, the expected result rivals that of Narcissus.

A cry in the wilderness is to be heard for those who have an ear to hear.

Best wishes for the coming New Year and a very Merry Christmas.
