Reader comment on item: Christianity Dying in Its Birthplace
in response to reader comment: one less dhimmi

Well, Sully, Malaysia is one very good example. Once the Moslem population tilted in favour of them in the 60s, things began to change. No Bibles in the Malay language (National language where the 40% non-moslem minority must pass to secure a job) are allowed into the country. Conversion is only granted from non-Moslem to Moslem. Only Moslem men can marry non-Moslem women upon converting them. Dogs are outlawed starting with the state of Selangor (where non-Moslems are quite substantial) wef this year. Non-Moslems are officially discriminated in all fields in the so-called New Economic Policy started in 1965 to infinity. Parliament dominated by Moslems decreed Malay-speaking Moslems to be "bumiputras" i.e. original people, on par with the "orang asli" i.e. aborigines of Malaysia, like the Red Indians of America and bushmen of Australia. One clever way of circumventing and practising dhimmitude! Mind you, this is a MODERATE Islamic country. Imagine when Moslems grow to 70%. I think God knows what will happen then. And the number will be reached faster than you can count with polygamy, imports and exceptionally high birth rates among Moslems.
