Reader comment on item: Christianity Dying in Its Birthplace

The BBC test seems to be, does it involve Jews or Americans. If not, atrocities no matter how evil, may receive barely a mention. If a Jew or American is involved, well, there's no limit.

I notice China is presently propping up Zimbabwe and Sudan, not that any Leftist media outlet seems too bothered. Imagine an Israeli govt doing this... hysterics. Reading the UK Guardian, and BBC, this rule seems to be universal across all areas. If a Jew or American is involved, its news, if the Muslims or whoever want to rape, pillage or slaughter its really nobody's business.

I once had dinner with the BBC correspondent for Delavan, a nice chap. He said his reports were changed in London, which got him into trouble. He also said that stories with pictures always go to the top of the news. Perhaps Jewish belief in democracy and free speech that's been Israel's greatest foe, allowing the cameras in, whereas I doubt Muslim rulers next door share these desires.

I see and hear the BBC every day, not a word has been spoken about this. But why should it, no Jews, no Americans, its hardly news at all.
