Comment on the title:

Please point out any "acts of war" that I have committed or even called for. To my knowledge, I have not. Could it be that you are confusing me with others? Could it be that your level of suspicion is so high that you will stereotype us all? If so, then this is merely a reflection of you and your inner state. It's your own choice.

Reuben stated:

Shazia retreats back into advanced theological discourse - this time her words echo Hindu notions of a universal godhead being revealed in various ways. This theology is not however owned by Islam ...

My Response:

The Truth (al-Haqq) is universal and not confined to a specific outer religion. All religions have emanated from the same Source going back to the first human who was endowed with knowledge and was in the state of harmoneous submission to the Reality, ie., he was "in islam (haromeous submission to the Reality)".

The Truth, Reuben, is available to all of us. It's already within is in the form of what the Qur`an calls ruH (spirit) which reflects the original light. Shine its light onto your self and it will reflect the highest of the patterns (qualities). Cover the self with anger, doubts, hatred, ego, pride, arrogance, and it will dim the light that it is capable of reflecting (coming from the ruH).

This is self-knowledge, which is not limited to any outer religion. The Islamists' propaganda and their actions are so loud and intense that even the Muslims do not see the journey of the self in the Qur`an and see something else in it, and describe usually in the language once spoken by the communits and the socialists.

Reuben stated:

"... which by its very nature rejects the division of the spiritual from the physical and has a well established disrespect for other religions."

Reuben, I understand and respect your interpretation and perception.

Will you allow me to disagree with you and state that in "my understanding", this is not the case?

Reuben, the point is not that you convince me of your perceptions or I convince you of mine. I am not here to win an argument for it will be catering to the lower aspects of my self (pride). The objective for me is to present my views and perceptions no matter how wrong they seem to you or others or how different they seem to you and others from those who identify their paths with the same outer label as mine.

Reuben stated:

For starters there is no such thing as a "rule of law" in Islamic countries ...

My Response:

They are hardly "Islamic" countries. There is no "Islamic" country per se. There are countries where those who identify themselves as "Muslims" are in majority. The horrible things being committed by some of them against the minorities are hardly "Islamic" in my opinion.

Again, the point is not for me to convince you or others of anything. This is not a boxing match where one is a winner and the other is a loser. It's an exchange of thoughts.

Reuben stated:

If two generations of Muslims have been educated in Islamism ...

My Response:

I disagree. Islamists make more noise than they have adherents. Having said this, I do recognize that the cancer is growing and we need to do something about it. I am doing my part to the best of my ability to ensure that it does not inflict my family.

Reuben stated:

I can see the darkness it is just these specks of light that Shazia refers to that are hard to make out.

My Response:

One such speck of light can be found here:

http://en.fgulen.com/

Fethullah Gulen.

It is up to you to decide if you wish to see other specs of light or not. But if ALL Muslims seem Islamists to you, then you will NOT find any and will see nothing but darkness.

That's your choice and is a reflection of you.

It is impossible that there will be over 1.2 Muslims and not a single one of them is not a spec of light!

I know many.
