Why are Islamic women enslaved to Islamic men?

As a woman and an infidel I find the status of Islamic women one of the strangest and longest enslavements in the history of mankind. The brutality with which Islamic women are treated by the Qu'ran, by the Sharia and by Islamic tradition is unspeakable. Women need permission to leave their homes, They are prohibited from earning a living, They are not permitted to inherit wealth, They are prohibited from testifying in court. They are forced to be bound and gagged with berquas and veils so as not to tempt the out-of-control Islamic male. They are prohibited from driving a car and denied the right of divorce from their rotten Islamic husbands.

Women do have some privileges under Islam. They have the right to be beaten by their Islamic husbands, They have the right to be stoned to death for adultery and they have the privilege of being womb factories for Islam. Even the children they bear belong to their husbands.

... if you are proud of this... then you too are waging war against women .... half of your population including your own mother.
