A heartfelt thanks for your piece from this Christian, Dr. Pipes. It is a tragedy of the first order that the leading churchmen of the "mainstream" Protestant denominations, Rome, and the Phaner remain silent on this. Still, it was probably also a mistake of the Falastin Arab Christians to identify so much with an Arab nationalism that has long had a hard time distinguishing itself from a sense of standing at the source and core of Islam.
