Reader comment on item: Christianity Dying in Its Birthplace

Maybe the decision to spread democracy in parts of the world that have never had it will start a different thought process. When you have lived in a society that has viewed the rest of the world as infidels.
Because of what we believe, it will take time for these people to see that with democracy comes rights that they never had. To elect leaders, debate with others and worship as they choose. This is a totally new concept in dealing with an age old problem.
My thanks and prayers go out to the men and women who are giving their lives to make this happen.
