Even Jesus Used Just Anger To Clean Out The TempleReader comment on item: Christianity Dying in Its Birthplace Submitted by AnneM (United States), Apr 25, 2006 at 19:41 We Christians tend to forget that even Jesus had to use just anger to not once, but twice in order to clean out his Heavenly Father's house, the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem from the merchants who were turning it into a marketplace. He was justly angry that not only his Heavenly Father's house was being used for the wrong reasons, but also he was outraged that worshipers with little money were being charged too much in order to have an acceptable animal for the temple sacrifaces. The lesson is that there is a time and a place for just anger when it comes to defending our faith, our places of worship, and our holy shrines.
