Reader comment on item: Christianity Dying in Its Birthplace

Submitted by dpv (United States), Nov 14, 2005 at 09:52

If Christians would read their bibles they would realize that the events of today are just prophecy being fulfilled. Not to say that something can't be done but that it is what man himself has allowed to happen because of his ungodliness. People as a whole look for ways around the scriptures to excuse their behaviors and their sinful desires. It is evident in the story of Soddom and Gommorah and other civilizations that have been wiped out. As long as we excuse sin and wrong doing here in our own country so that we can be politically correct and not correct with Christ we are helping our country to destroy itself. We need to start standing up for God. This country's foundation was God and still should be. I don't knock other religions but feel that like you have to adapt to other countries when you go there why are we allowing others to dictate what we should believe. Why aren't we fighting for our Christian rights like everybody else for their religion? Why do we allow others to have a voice yet we allow others to silence ours? It's time to stand up and be counted?
