Death of Christianity in the land of its birth

Reader comment on item: Christianity Dying in Its Birthplace

Having read an article by Oscar Heck on VHeadline.com of Venezuela that the Christian West should pay for colonialism, slavery and a host of other crimes, I did some research on the forgotten invasions of the Middle East by Arabs since the seventh century and after. Yes! In all fairness, I do take the West to task for many of their actions as colonial powers, but I demand that the same stand be taken against the Arabs who invaded one Christian country after another in the Middle East to forcibly convert them to Islam since the year 632. My point is why should the West be singled out for reparations when Arab Muslim conquerors are not?

As for the death of Christianity in the Holy Land, it was only a question of time when it was due to happen. That is now also taking place in Iraq, where Assyrian Christians are leaving in large numbers, because there is no longer any tolerance for them in that country. I have spoken to many Assyrian Christians and it is a fait accompli.

I have written a rebuttal on Western colonialism vis-a-vis Arab colonialism. It is an issue for me, without any filigree. If you desire a copy, please contact me.
