Two sides of coinReader comment on item: Christianity Dying in Its Birthplace Submitted by Rick (Canada), Sep 18, 2005 at 21:00 The comments of some of the Hindus on this forum are noteworthy. However, let us not forget fanatical hindus are begining to show a shade as dark if not darker than the fanatical Islamists. Christians are also facing persecution and harassment in India by destruction of Churches, rape and killing of the clergy and practically living in fear. It is ironic that Hindus who claim to have been persecuted by Moslems for centuries would have learnt some sort of lesson and not perpetrate the same kind of evil that they were oppressed with. They are certainly begining to look like they are two sides of the same coin?I can clearly empathise with their stance vis a vis Moslems ... but what have Christians done to them to be the target of their wrath? No Hindu is persecuted or Hindu temple destroyed in the west. Unlike the myth of moderate Islam, moderate Hinduism is a reality and its time moderate Hindus(who are a sizable majority) stamp out this evil which is begining to rear its ugly head and cause a lot a damage to the fair name that Hindus have earned for themselves. Mere lip service and words will not do the trick, such as we are currently witnessing with Islam.
