As in Vietnam we lost the war at home long before the victory in Korea. The communist killing machines went on and on and on until Ronald Reagan ended the "Cold War." There is no doubt that Putin is longing for the Soviet Union of old. But, it is doubtful he'll live long enough to realize another Soviet empire.
