Mr. Bayezid,
You seem to be conveniently avoiding the pertinent issues raised by me regarding Quranic verses and have been giving me general lessons on what God is and his orders are. I pointed out---

While the earlier belief systems talk extensively about union or merger of individual self with the supreme being by absolute surrender of the ego and attaining ONENESS with the supreme reality, as the ultimate goal of human existence, how is Quran, which you claim, is the culmination of all earlier belief systems, rewards its followers with lowly materialistic pleasures like women, wine, farmlands etc. which are described in mindboggling minute micro finesse, which even muslims shun and shudder to discuss--

Can you or any of the islamic experts authoritatively confirm that the kind of eternal sensual pleasures that are promised are superior to the bliss that an individual attains on liberation by following time tested methods of other religions.

Instead of giving your version, you took a dig at my moral science teacher that I was not taught morals, which is your indirect acceptance that any talk about theses verses of Quran is less moral & taboo and admission that there are areas in Quran which are to be swept under the carpet. Don't you think that these verses represent the beastly life and depraved aspirations of 7th century pervert, sex hungry desert marauders of Saudi Arabia, who were dangled this carrot to join the jehad. Do you want more direct evidence.

I next asked you how is the world any better after Islam's entry or was it any worse earlier?
You continuously drumbeat other faiths have strayed, that Islam's goal was to bring about one common order. How is that the strayed lot behave far better and contributed more to make this world a happier place while the people of the book have become parasites on them. What is the contribution of Islam to the modern world?

Mr. Bayezid said
it is also said that kalki will be against the swine eaters. does this sound familiar to you?

You know modern medicine has extracts of almost all the animals you can imagine. So we all already have a lot of swine and dog and what not in us. Just a suggestion. Why don't you and our muslim bretheren keep eating Black Cumin seeds & Figs which Prophet said is a cure for all diseases except death.

Mr. Bayezid said:
sensible people definitely go with what GOD has said instead of what his servants say. its elementary understanding. secularists go with their own ideas. religious people go with the ideas of GOD. which is better? the one coming from your MAKER and ruler of all, or the one coming from your limited mind?

Why do you contradict yourself so directly. If Quran is directly from God then who is Muhamad.
How are you so sure that Muhamad has not gone with his own ideas, when the contadictions and inadequacies in the book are so apparent. If its really God's work and for the humanity at large, why can't Quran be put to severe intellectual critical, scrutiny openly--- in order to set things right once and for all.
Are you lot scared that the God's word may fail the test of scrutiny and invite ridicule, for obvious reasons.
