This observer knowing so many ex-patriates of the Shah's Iran and appreciating them for the kind and gentle people they are, hearing of this travesty of justice sends tremors of indignation that a government that is so paranoid (as America is becoming now) of its citizenry that merely wants to enjoy the good things of life without being overburdened with excesses of governmental overreach for reasons of the insecurities of the autocratic agents of a totalitarian regime that has no heart for truth.
The loss of Mahsa Amini is one that will be remembered when the time comes that her attackers are pointed out for their deed of infamy and they will have no one to remember them when their calls for mercy go unheeded.
