Dr. Pipes,

I urge your readers to say her name: MAHSA AMINI

This 22 year old Iranian women was murdered by the religious tyrants in Iran because her "Hijab" was not "the right hijab" what ever that is.

And shame on the BBC, and in an article written two days ago, the author of the article describe it as "headscarf" when it is not. As usual they bend over backwards and call a hijab: headscarf so no one would realize that not wearing a Hijab is choice that an Iranian can make. Absolute shame.

Any student of the Arabic language would know what is really a Hijab (curtain) or حجاب and what is a Tarha or headscarf or طرحة. Big difference.

Last, shame on feminists and the Left and the legacy media for being silent on this tragedy
