THE WEST & MUSLIM WORLD MUST KNOW THAT WEARING OF "BURKHA" BY AFGAN WOMEN IS NOT THE DRESS PRESCRIBED BY HOLY QURAN BUT THE TRIBAL CUSTOMS PRACTISED BY SUCH PEOPLE.

The Intellectuals & the Crictics of the West in particular & Muslims in general must know the Truth about the Dresses for Muslim men & women. There is no specific Dresses for men & Women in the Holy Quran. But the Right Dress for them is to wear the Decent,Modest & Beautiful Dresses.

Muslim Women canl keep the Face, two hand wrists & ankles Open & uncoverd. They don't need to cover the face, wrists & ankles. This is prescribed in the Holy Quran.

You must understand that many Muslims came from different Ethnic groups & races and have been following their own Customs for long time & don't know the exact Rules prescribed in Holy Quran. The Afgan women or women like them are mostly Ittiterate & Poor Women and they don't know the Truth about the Right Teaching of Holy Quran. So Holy Quran or our Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) are not responsible for their Ignorance. This is the most Unfortunate situation for them.

The real picture of Islam is completely different what the West has learnt from such a situation.

In Islam, Education is a Must for Every Muslim Man & Woman. There is no Discrimination for Girls or Women. It is NOT Islam but the Tribal Custom which discourages or denies the Rights of the Girls/ Women from going to the Schools & Colleges in Afganistan or some other Poor Muslim countries. Islam is not responsible for it. The Ignotant Afgan people are responsible for their condition.

I am a Muslim from an enlightened Muslim Society, where Muslim Boys & Girls go to the Schools, Colleges & Universities and have earned their Degrees for the advancement of their Careers in their Real Life. A simple example from my own Family. My Mother in Law is a Gynocologist, who wears an Apron like a Doctor and visits her Patients. She also wears a Scrap over her Head. So she looks nice & beautiful. Still she is a Doctor & also a very Pious & honest Professional Woman. This is the Real Picture of a well educated & dignified Woman in Islam. In developed & advanced Muslim coutries from Indonesia, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Turkey to other Middle East countries, you would find Muslim Woman Doctors, Engineers, Professional Lawyers, Accountants, Government High Officials, Bank & Insurance Executives. They wear their Local Women Dresses but don't wear any "Burkhas" like Afgan Women. Is it Strange? No, it is True.

So the West must not confuse the Custom of the Tribal Women of Afganistan or elsewhere with those of Normal Muslim Women, who enjoy Equal Rights & Equal Education for their future Life & Bright Career for a Bright Future. In real Life, Muslim Women have got Greater Rights in Islam than the Women of the West. It is a Historical confirmation. I thank the West for understanding the Real Islam & Holy Quran. I have high Appreciation for my Hopy Quran & my Great Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), which have brought Human from Darkness to the Light & Enlightened World of Civilized people of all Nations.
