As for the 95 Theses, I can name them all because I always have a copy handy. A friend and mentor of mine always used to say that Lutherans don't have to memorize the Bible because we know how to use a Concordance. I always know where and how to look things up. I think that's a lot of what education is. You learn where to find information.

I have quoted the 1st of the 95 theses so often because I run into those "born again" people all the time and they want to know when I was saved. Being born again is nice it is just not enough. Matthew 4:17, is what the first of the theses is based on and Luther says you must be born anew every day. How strenuous is that? They usually leave me alone after that.

My sermon this Sunday is comparing Islam to Christianity and the f act that we must all stand up for the truth. St Francis will play a primary role.
