Reader comment on item: Ban the Burqa - and the Niqab Too

Following my rule of thumb that Muslims enjoy the same rights and obligations as other citizens, but not special rights or obligations, a woman's freedom of expression grants her the option to wear a hijab.

I suppose if we let Hasidic Jews, the Amish, and priests wear such religious outfits, Muslims should be granted the same rights. Ok, you're incontestably right.
