Dr. Pipes
I want to bring to your attention that Nalanda University, which was a center of Buddhist learning and was destroyed looted and the books torched by the invading Muslim Turks of India under the leadership of Bakhtiyar Khilji in 1193 CE, is back in business albeit with a small class of 15 students
http://www.ndtv.com/article/india/800-years-later-nalanda-university-reopens-584773
Now there was also a report from the BBC about it
http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-india-29008765
And notice that the BBC tells us that the university was destroyed by unnamed invaders of India but the article never identifies who were really those invaders
The author of the article should be ashamed of himself
But again the truth never goes away
