Islam vs. History

Dear Prof Pipes,

Your list excludes the Hindu temples destroyed in the Indian Kashmir post 1947, in Bangladesh in and after 1992.

May I ask a simple question and that is: Can any individual or a group of individuals, religious or otherwise, raise his/her/its prestige by abusing others? What the followers of Islam were doing for the last 14 centuries, within and without?
