INo Logical Explanation

Reader comment on item: Islam vs. History

Submitted by Judith (United States), Jul 2, 2012 at 20:40

You've got me there. I have been studying this phenomenon for years now and there seems to be no logical explanation for Muslims destroying former Islamic holy sites or other artifacts, along with their zealous fervor in destroying things Hindu, Christian or Jewish, etc. Could it be that a society steeped in high unemployment, lack of ambition for scientific pursuits, or lacking the desire for uplifting humanity as a whole is a frustrated and hopeless society looking for outlets for their anger because they have no clear future or hope for personal fulfillment from generation to generation?

Or, is that too heavy? Do these folks ever have a good day? What kind of a life lives only to destroy? is this the "dark side?" Who visited Mohammed really? Golda said it best...
