Untrue muslims

Dear Dr Pipes:

... Quran says that any one who harms an innocent person harms the whole humanity. All these people who destroy old artifacts of other religions are not true Muslims. They are untrue muslims. The world's first untrue Muslim lived about 1400 years ago and since then the tradition is continuing. Excluding these untrue Muslims, Islam is the foremost religion of peace. You just have to look at Islamic spain and recall how peaceful and progressive it was.
