When will they learn to co-exist ???

Islam, in the words of many Muslim Clerics is "incompatible" with western / modern ideologies. It is fundamentaly different to such an extent that there is no room for co-existance with other cultures and religions. This is sad.... in this global era where everything is wired and rational thinking has taken precedence over minor ethnic disagreements, Islam still fights the same fight they have been fighting for centuries : to convert the world to Islam or else subjugate nonmuslims to harsh penalties. History shows that such separatist ideals lead to catastrophe and one can see today that many muslim countries are reeling under poverty, illiteracy, corrupt dictators and wily Mullah's. While religion does have its place in human society they must sit back and address basic issues and learn to co-exist peacefully - especially when they are in another country which is secular and democratic.
