Image or substance?Reader comment on item: [Fixing] Islam's Image Problem Submitted by Tom Pensyl (United States), Aug 4, 2003 at 14:00 Islam has an "Image" problem? It seems to me that Islam has a substance problem.Once a land has been claimed by Islam, can it be reversed to "non-Islamic"? Once a person is a Muslim, can he or she convert to another religion without fear of persecution or death? It appears to me that Islam is a form of religious totalitarianism whether it comes by sword or by peace.
