Its name designates it as a national political/ethnic/religious organization. The names of the other organizations you cite do not project themselves in this way. Competing organizations projecting national scope are needed. e.g. The American-Islamic Congress, American Muslim Federation. An identity which suggests national scope will draw the phone calls and news interviews.
