Islam is not violent

I am a 19 years old Muslim Egyptian. It's the first time I have ever e-mailed this site, but as a Muslim, I find it necessary to defend my religion which is being misjudged by different people who rely on the acts of not extremists but murderers; Bin Ladin is a murderer, not an extremist.

Islam has never called for killing people of all kinds. It has called Muslims to defend themselves when attacked. Islam means the peace if literally translated... So, Islam should not be judjed by individual Muslims themselves who claim to be following the faith, but by the Qura'an and Sona...
