Daniel Pipes Understood

Reader comment on item: [Fixing] Islam's Image Problem

Submitted by Richard Rheiner (United States), Aug 2, 2003 at 10:05

We understand the goals Dr. Pipes and his unbiased scholarship strive to meet. Daniel Pipes is a peacemaker in the finest sense of the term. ...The rush by groups like CAIR to squelch people whose opinions differ from the so-called mainstream or politically correct tells me that Dr. Pipes is on the right track. All in all Dr. Pipes is very generous to his opposition. He treats them with respect, even if they do not afford him the same courtesy.
